Sunday School

Sunday School for PreK3 through High School (September – May)

Sunday School is an important part of our Sunday morning program for our children. While adults attend the Adult Bible Class, we offer Sunday School classes for PreK-3 through High School during the normal school year.

Sunday School Picnic – May 31

Let’s celebrate the wonderful year we’ve had in the classroom! Our Sunday School picnic will be held Sunday, May 31, starting at 11:30am…and it will all happen right here at church!

Everyone is invited to attend…whether you have a kiddo in Sunday School or not! We will begin with food, a devotion, and teacher recognition. Church will supply the meat (burgers, brats and hot dogs) and we ask that each family bring the following according to their last name:

A-H: dessert, I-U: main dish, V-Z: salad

We will get a game of kickball started in the park once the food has settled. There will be many other yard games, including a scavenger hunt. Feel free to bring a game of your own! We simply want to make this a time to celebrate the end of the year and have a great time together as a church community, so come and go as you can.

And finally, a special shout out to Rob and Susie Bailey for graciously hosting this picnic for so many years in the past…a huge THANK YOU to them both!

New to Sunday School?

Sunday School is offered for children who turn 3 by September 1st through high school. Several different bible stories and topics will be looked at throughout the year that show the struggles of life due to sin, but also the beautiful story of forgiveness through Jesus dying on the cross for us! Your child will also build relationships with their peers in the classroom and gain a sense of community with children their own age. Offering will also be collected weekly to support an organization either locally or abroad. Sunday School teachers are a vital part of making Sunday School happen. We have a wonderful group this year who will care for and teach your child(ren)!
